Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Who's The Nastiest Fox Host Of Them All?
Fight, fight, fight.....
Can we just let Fox's Geraldo Rivera and Eric Bolling duke it out and at least get two of the network's worst bloviators off of the air for a little while while they're healing up? The two of them looked like they were ready to come to blows on this Monday's The Five while arguing about Donald Trump exploiting the death of Kate Steinle -- the woman killed by an undocumented immigrant that Fox has been exploiting almost constantly ever since she was murdered earlier this month.
Jesse Watters was the first one to set Geraldo off with his insult of President Obama that our friend Ellen discussed here: Fox’s Jesse Watters: The President Has Blood On His Hands Over Kathryn Steinle’s Death:
The odiousness of Jesse Watters just went on and on during today’s The Five. Mr. Stalk and Ambush Watters, whose Fox Nation website we have repeatedly reported to authorities because of the murder talk in the comments, had the nerve to accuse President Obama of having “blood on his hands” because he has not shut down sanctuary cities.
But first, the ever-smirking Watters sneered his approval for Donald Trump by disrespecting the president.
WATTERS: Trump has tapped into red-blooded American bloodstream right now, the people that are sick of watching a skinny, community organizer go out there and run this country into the ground and they want to see a more muscular approach.
When cohost Geraldo Rivera challenged that as disrespectful, Watters said, “I don’t think so. I think you’ve said a lot worse about Republicans, Geraldo.”
Then it was Bolling's turn to chime in:
Fox host Geraldo Rivera’s argument with colleague Eric Bolling took a personal turn on Monday after Rivera accused Bolling and co-host Jesse Watters of exploiting the death of Kate Steinle to defend Donald Trump, Media Matters reported.
“It is exploiting and sensationalizing –” Rivera said before Bolling cut him off.
“From a guy who exploits and sensationalizes everything,” Bolling retorted.
“Are you talking to me?” Rivera shot back. “You’re lucky that you’re my friend. I’d knock you out right now. That’s absolute BS.”
“Well, we can take this up later,” Bolling said, as Rivera fumed again that it was “absolute bogus BS.”
“I exploit and sensationalize?” Rivera asked him. “What do you do? Where do you get your stuff from? What right-wing pundit has given you your script?”
The confrontation originated from a discussion concerning Republican presidential candidates and pundits taking shot at Trump, who is currently polling well among GOP voters.
