David Brooks: 'It's Going To Be Rubio! I'm Telling You It's Going To Be Rubio!'
David Brooks is still deep in denial about his party's frontrunners.
Someone please explain to me why this man still has a job? Apparently David Brooks still believes that one of these "establishment" Republicans is going to come riding to the rescue and "save" the party from the likes of Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.
Here's Bobo responding to Chuck Todd after he asked him about the panic-stricken column he wrote earlier this week for The New York Times on this Sunday's Meet the Press:
TODD: David Brooks, before National Review came out, you came out earlier in the week, begging basically all of the other parts, the governing wing of the Republican party, I think you called them, to revolt against both of them.
DAVID BROOKS: This is going to go on for a long time, and this is like the Iran-Iraq war. I want them both to lose, and I think that's going to happen. I still think I'm the last person in America. This is not Trump-Cruz.
This is going to go on for months and months and months. If you get A attacking B, and B attacking A....
TODD: But who's C?
BROOKS: ... you're going to get a C. You're going to get a C! It's going to be Rubio! I'm telling you, it's going to be Rubio.
