Sanders Speaks After Meeting With President Obama
Bernie says "it's important to remember how far we've come in the last seven years, under leadership of President Obama."
Bernie Sanders met with President Obama this morning in the Oval Office.
Sanders called it "a positive and constructive meeting" which included "a little bit of politics."
Of course it did. My hunch is this was an opportunity for Obama to ensure party unity from Bernie, and an opportunity for Bernie to ensure at least tacit neutrality from the White House.
Emerging from the meeting, Sanders said he felt sure both Obama and Biden are not "tipping the scale" in favor of Clinton.
