Remember When Appearing On MSNBC Got You Branded A Liberal?
Those were the days!
This far right wing attack ad (from 2013) against Liz Cheney's failed senate bid caught my eye this week.
It's hilarious even for 2013, that you could fool voters into branding Liz Cheney a liberal just because she appeared on -- GASP -- MSNBC.
MSNBC, you mean the network that now has Morning Joe on for four hours a day?
The network that fired Melissa Harris Perry because she was "unpredictable"?
The network that fills a weekday slot with a rerun of Mark Helperin's Bloomberg News show because reasons?
The network that re-runs Chuck Todd's Meet the Press (your home for Republican Congressmen and Mary Matalin) multiple times each Sunday?
I've lost count as to how many minutes MSNBC has broadcast an empty Trump podium. Mediate found one egregious example for them with Fox and CNN joining in.
Yes, Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow do their best to truth-tell. I have to wonder how often they have to keep their heads down and mouths shut in the current environment.
But you go, super right wing PACs. Use that "librul tee vee" myth to hammer your party ever further out of the mainstream. Just don't expect real liberals to buy what you're selling.
