Ben Carson: 'As A Christian' You Shouldn't 'Judge' Trump For Mistreating Women

Dr. Ben Carson argued on Sunday that Christians should not "judge" GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump based on his treatment of women.

On Sunday's edition of Fox & Friends, host Tucker Carlson pointed out to Carson that a recent New York Times report had suggested that Trump had a history of "crossing the line" with women in private.

"They have been making the case for months that Donald Trump is a sexist," the Fox News host explained. "As a Christian, are you comfortable with with the way Donald Trump behaves with women?"

Carson argued that Trump had "elevated a lot of women in his organization."

"So as a Christian, what I do do is not judge everybody," he said. "And that seems to be something that a lot of people have got into. 'I'm better than you are.' Give me a break. Let's just stop for a moment."

"And I'm talking to conservatives," Carson continued. "Let's consider where we are as a nation and what we have to do. What your feelings are personally about a person is irrelevant. What we need to be talking about your children and your grandchildren's future. Think about that."

Carson complained that the media had misused its First Amendment protections because they were not "honest" and "on the side of the people."

"That has been distorted, and you see what the result is," the former presidential candidate opined. "I call upon young journalists to reject those people who are training them to be dishonest."
