Chris Wallace Loses His Cool With Rep, Adam Schiff (D-CA)
No way are other contemporaries relevant to Hillary, Fox already deemed it so.
There are rules arbitrarily created by certain pundits when it comes to debunking the mystery that is the 'scandal' of Hillary Clinton and her emails. The latest rule: there shall be NO comparing her to her predecessors, namely, Colin Powell, who, according to Fox News Sunday's Chris Wallace, is off limits because he says so. Period.
California Congressman Adam Schiff attempts to relate Hillary's private account to the conduct of her predecessors. The comparison with Secretary Powell's private email account is relevant, but Wallace will simply not permit him to make his point. He vehemently objects and prevents Schiff from mentioning one detail about Powell with relation to Hillary. The reason is exclusively the private server, which convicts her of any and all contrived crimes they conjure.
SCHIFF: I think it’s very telling, though, Chris, that there’s no interest in anyone here but Secretary Clinton...
WALLACE: Really? Because she’s the only one running for president.
"I think it's frankly a red herring, sir. And I’d expect more from you."
Wallace adds that he won't be voting for Powell for president, because that's just adorable and patronizing, which is exactly what he's trying to be.
Oklahoma Senator Mark Langford interjects his views that Clinton was only driven to be surreptitious to keep her secrets safe at the expense of national security. That dramatic assertion is left completely unchallenged, OF COURSE.
LANGFORD: This was all about her political security, not about national security. It was about containing and controlling all these records.
So that's it. Schiff is not allowed to make the valid point that the Bush Era had countless email improprieties but Langford can assume all her motives were malevolent without the slightest challenge to that absurd assumption. Sounds like another day at Fox 'News.'
