What a Monday it has been. An emergency bill put my back account at a negative balance and a family matter had me having to leave work early. Sure, minor things compared to the much larger things people face ever day, Still though, Ugh! Mondays.

It is the 50th anniversary of release of the Beach Boys Pet Sounds today. It was every ubiquitous album in the house I grew up in. Almost to a point where I feel I don't really ever need to listen to it ever again. Hearing this today during the midst of life's hassles though took me back to much simpler times.
