'The Daily Show' Makes #WeakDonald Go Viral

Drumpf's refusal to release his tax returns seems a lot like Willard's exact same problem.

Aaah, the smell of sweet irony!

In 2012, Donald Trump vociferously demanded that then Candidate Romney, release his income tax returns. He claimed that his obstinate refusal to do so made him look 'weak.'

Last night, in a delicious twist of fate, The Daily Show's host, Trevor Noah used Donald's own words to bash him. Noah revealed a very popular hashtag that has since gone viral: #weakDonald.

The ever-growing matter of his income tax returns, which he refuses to release, are causing him an Etch-a-Sketch-sized headache. Donald's dozens of poorly-engineered excuses don't fool anyone and it didn't help that Noah packaged his hypocrisy so compactly, it could fit in one of his unusually tiny hands.

NOAH: Trump's refusal to release his returns have been making news. And he's always had an excuse.

Next, we are treated to a few soundbites of Donald's verbal inconsistencies, like when he demanded to see President Obama's 'birth certificate.' When President Obama complied, we saw nothing from Donald. His own audio clips were downright hilarious:

TRUMP audio: We'll see what I'm going to do with tax returns, but I may tie them to a release of Hillary's emails. I'll do it as fast as the audit's finished. I'm always audited, I think it's very unfair, because of religion, because I'm a strong Christian.

Noah drives the final nail in Trump's tax coffin when he reminds us that EVEN Richard Nixon released his returns DURING an audit.

TREVOR NOAH: Right now, Donald Trump, you are shadier than Richard Nixon. That's like being a bigger piece of shit than George Zimmerman.

One way Drumpf can easily compete with the abhorrent putz, Zimmerman, is by 'auctioning off' the first glimpse at his tax returns. It won't be easy, because Zimmerman's recent public auction offering of the gun he used to stalk and kill Trayvon Martin is perhaps more loathsome than Trump.

But Georgy boy isn't running for President. Lest we forget, Drumpf boasted of his infallibility when he claimed he could publicly shoot someone on 5th Avenue and totally get away with it, just like Zimmerman did. Luckily for us, we haven't even begun to see Trump's potential for malevolence, and hopefully we won't have to suffer a tyrant like this fool. VOTE PEOPLE!!

The revelations from his income tax returns are probably so damning, he knows he's in quite a pickle. One thing's very likely: they will not show those alleged charitable donations that prove his philanthropy and maybe he's not as rich as he claims.

Finally, Noah asks the audience not to use the hashtag #weakDonald. With plenty of snark, he asks the studio guests to not go on Twitter and tweet that, and he repeats himself to the delight of everyone in the room and at home. Twitter is Trump's territory and using that medium against him is sweet revenge.

Undoubtedly, so much more audio goodness is out there, and that's even excluding statements made by other people. At least we know that Hillary Clinton, and to a lesser degree, Senator Sanders, have been much more carefully vetted than this bloviating buffoon. Looks like it's time to stock up on some more popcorn.

Here are a couple of noteworthy tweets that totally don't use that hashtag.

and this last tweet from our own Fran:

So I guess Herr Drumpf and Tangerine Tornado have been TRUMPED by #weakDonald. Sounds good to me!
