Three things about this ad above:

1. It's amazing how long some of these Senators have been in office. They, as individuals, have a long history of confirming nominees from the other political party.

2. This ad hits hard on Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, Republican of Iowa. He's holding up hearings on the Garland nomination.

3. In less than two minutes, this ad points out the incredulity of both the public and the press (!) to recognize any reason why Garland shouldn't be confirmed.

We know for a fact that Republicans are just trying to deny Obama an appointment, just like they've blocked nearly everything this President has tried to accomplish. Senator Jeff Flake gave the game away when he said it was better to take Garland now than a Hillary appointment later.

Total Republican obstruction. It's a shameful legacy for a dying party.
