Alex Jones And Karl Rove's Airport Kerfuffle

Why are these two even going?

We've already reported on the very large number of elected officials and other top Republicans who are not going to the Republican National Convention, in the hopes that they will not be associated with the massive failure that is now the Republican Party. Really, the term "dumpster fire" is being over-used this week.

The ones who couldn't get out of it will wish to be far from the cameras:

But not Alex Jones and not Karl Rove. Rove is going to be there as a Fox News Analyst, reminding everyone how drastically he failed during the last election night. Maybe he counts delegates better than he counts electoral votes, ya think?

And Alex Jones has grabbed on to the Trump coattails with everything he's got. His audience of conspiracy theorists are the perfect match for a Trump candidacy. I swear even if Hillary gets 400 electoral votes, Alex Jones will be making videos for weeks about the stolen election. And then, like Hugh Hewitt, Alex will expand his empire and build a castle out of Hillary Hate for the next eight years, if he's lucky.

Oh, Gawker covered the airport scene. Both of them are so full of projection....emphasis mine:

Jones... interrogates Rove over whether he’s going to “support Trump” or if he’s just “siphoning money off of him to make sure Hillary wins.” Rove sidesteps the question, instead choosing to explain to that, since he works for Fox, he “won’t be appearing on the Alex Jones Show.”

At that point, Jones explains to his viewers that Rove has just proven his point, Rove gets mad, and the two proceed to argue over whether or not Alex Jones should “scuffle off.” (Alex believes that he should not. Karl thinks otherwise.)

The two men repeat this dance several times until, finally, Karl Rove has had enough. He seeks sanctuary at the customer service desk, and Alex Jones, sensing trouble, decides to flee.

One assumes the ground crew made sure their seats were not together.
