Giuliani Only Needs 'The Google' To Diagnose Hillary Clinton
Colbert rips Giuliani's medical quackery by using the same 'logic' as Mayor of 9-11
It's easy to lambaste Republicans for their 'zero medical evidence' health diagnoses of Hillary Clinton. Last night's Late Show with Stephen Colbert poked delicious fun at Rudy Giuliani for recommending that viewers search the internet in order to provide instant medical diagnosis via online video.
Mayor Noun, Verb, 911, Rudy Giuliani, the most frenetic and passionate surrogate working for Herr Drümpf, is certain that pointing potential voters to 'The Google' will unequivocally prove that Mrs. Clinton is too incapacitated to serve, her also being a woman and all. Google provides us with all the information we need to assess the Democratic Candidate's health. In case you were unaware, if you do the Google like Rudy does, we no longer need highly educated doctors. Good to know!
COLBERT: Former New York Mayor and guy who took away your Times Square porn, Rudy Giuliani has a simple suggestion: Go on line and put down "Hillary Clinton Illness" and take a look at the videos for yourself. (audience laughs)
Colbert continues, Yes, Giuliani says just diagnose Hillary on the internet, because if it's on the internet, you know it's true.
For instance, I put my symptoms into WebMD and found out I've started menopause. (Cheers and applause) to Jon (band leader) A little hot, ain't it?
It's why we keep it so cold in here.
By the way, I took Giuliani at his word and Googled Hillary Clinton Illness, and this is true. The first result is Giuliani fuels Clinton health rumors AGAIN and AGAIN.
Then Colbert digs into some of the past antics the former mayor seems to forget, or likely subscribes to the idea that "it's okay if you're a Republican" (IOKIYAR) . A quick reminder that the way Trump and Giuliani really think of women is not going to attract female voters to the Trump camp.
Colbert comments,
That's shocking and you're going to want to verify that video. Just go online and put down "Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani Drag Queen Motorboat.'
Republican Family Values, hard at work.
Colbert reminds us of Republicans' incessant repetition that Clinton is frail, weak or low energy. But those shortcomings are superfluous because they are avoiding the real problem:
COLBERT: They're just tip-toeing around the medical condition they're REALLY upset about, the one that NO OTHER PRESIDENT IN HISTORY has EVER faced. Hillary Clinton has chronic 'no penis.' It's congenital (audience cheers, applauds) it runs -- it runs, every woman in her family has had the same thing!
Colbert exposes the whole line of attack against Clinton's health and wellness as ludicrous. Giuliani's 'gift' for medical diagnosis is a desperate, pathetic, ageist (and what's with that, both Trump and Rudy are older than Hillary!) and sexist attempt to paint Clinton as somehow unable to carry on the duties of President.
It's laughable.
