In case you're not familiar with the song 'My Shot' from the insanely acclaimed Broadway smash hit, 'Hamilton,' the creator of the show hosted SNL and treated us to some of his creative genius. He managed to artfully substitute the original lyrics with some cathartic Trump-bashing. Lin-Manuel Miranda's enthusiasm is quite possibly the only way we could forget that NBC allowed this monster to host a show almost one year ago, a show with a reputation for creating some amazing sketch comedy and launching scores of epic careers.

In the monologue, Miranda broke into song and expressed his disgust with the GOP nominee by adapting the lyrics to capitalize on a famous meme regarding how Trump will not be president. He will never be president: true for Hamilton, true for Trump.

It's truly amazing how many in the media capitulated to legitimizing the god-awful nominee of the Republican Party, and when SNL allowed him to host, many were aghast. Now it seems that the MSM has figured out we were right and they made an unforgivable mistake. We can only hope they did this in time.
