Life Under Trump: More Hate Crimes, This Time Swastikas Painted In A Home In Cincinnati

Hate crimes continue to rise after Trump's election, this time anti-Semitic graffiti in Cincinnati.

Over 1,000 hate crimes have been reported since the election of Donald Trump. Most are directed towards Jews and Muslims and Donald Trump has not come out with any sort of statement/tweet/talking point to calm these racists down.

This seems a great start to a four year hate-fest where blatant racism will be the overt norm in the United States for the first time in decades. Thank you, oh Orange One.

In Cincinnati, Ohio a couple reports came home following a Thanksgiving vacation to find their rental property trashed, covered with swastikas, both inside and out.

One of the owners, Pat Jude, told WCPO news:

“They hit every cabinet with paint. They hit every wall with paint. They hit every appliance, they poured paint into the appliances. They poured cement down the drains. I mean, there is nothing that is salvageable."

In addition to the swastikas and pipe damage, they also kicked out a stair rail, caused flooding to various parts of the home and painted "White Power" on the walls.

Pat and her husband had intended to retire in the rental property, but their plans will be placed on hold while they repair the damage and vandalism.

Sadly, this isn't the first time the family has faced discrimination in one form or another. Pat shared the heartbreaking story of her son's bullying. Six years ago, the 16 year old teen took his own life after being bullied for being bi-racial.

Pat said: “We’ve gone through that. You never get over it, but then you come in here, and it’s the same kind of stuff.”

If anyone has a tip on who committed this act, please contact the Cincinnati Police Department.
