'F*cking Delusional': Wayne LaPierre Shows His Face On TV -- And Twitter Pounds Him Over Vegas Deaths
National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre was pilloried by viewers on Sunday after he appeared on CBS to dissuade Congress from pursuing gun safety laws following the massacre of 58 people in Las Vegas.
National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre was pilloried by viewers on Sunday after he appeared on CBS to dissuade Congress from pursuing gun safety laws following the massacre of 58 people in Las Vegas.
During an appearance on Face the Nation, host John Dickerson went easy on LaPierre, allowing him to blame video games, gun control and mental health for the Vegas shooting.
Twitter users reacted by swiftly condemning both of them.
Wayne LaPierre just blamed collapse of mental health system on gun issues. In MI in 90s, GOP govt. shut it down, booted thousands to street.

Wayne LaPierre would obfuscate if you asked him for the time of day. What a turd.

LaPierre of @NRA earning his blood money on @MeetThePress. Only 3% of Americans account for 50% of guns owned. That's who we should go after

Listening to asshole @waynelapierrejr on @FaceTheNation just started my day off badly. Actually blamed Obama’s ATF for Vegas. #ASSHOLE

Nothing perturbs my spirit like NRA's Wayne LaPierre on the Sunday shows after a mass shooting. (& how disgusting that's a regular thing.)

Shame on you @jdickerson for allowing LaPierre to sidestep yr questions. Esp his comment re: "good guys with guns showing up to stop gunman." Yr response shld have been, "To be fair, those good guys were trained police, NOT civilians." He used yr platform 2 spread his propaganda

After mass shootings the republicans historically loosen gun laws, because that's sanity, their policies are clearly working. Unreal! #FTN

LaPierre says we can’t legislate morality. Says the old, white, man. Is he fucking delusional? I know he’s evil and crazy, but he’s blind 2.
— oakleyannie (@CurlyhairGirly) October 8, 2017
Wayne LaPierre wants the mental health system fixed instead of gun laws. Does that mean the @NRA socialized mental health care? Hope so!

I just turned off @FaceTheNation for the first time because Dickerson is letting Wayne LaPierre disrespect his questions so blatantly.
