Sunday Morning Bobblehead Thread
Let's see who is framing the debate this week, shall we?
This was my refrain all this week: "It just doesn't matter any more."
It doesn't matter if Trump is cavorting with a porn star, or even currently having an affair.
It doesn't matter if Russian bots aren't even trying to be secretive as they funnel cash into the coffers of Republicans or the NRA.
It doesn't matter if Trump says he'll sign whatever bipartisan legislation and then change his mind after Racist John Kelly whispers in his ear.
It doesn't matter if three branches of government are controlled by Republicans and they're so incompetent, they can't keep it open.
You know why? It's not Trump. It's the Repubicans in Congress. All this could be different if there was an ounce of integrity or actual patriotism with the congressional Republicans. This isn't Trumpism. This is the entire godforsaken Republican Party,
But the mid-terms are coming up. Change can happen IF (and only if) we overwhelm voting booths in November. And based on the number of women and men I saw marching yesterday, that feels infinitely possible.
