C&L's Sat Nite Chiller Theater: Shadow Of A Doubt (1943)

Another Saturday Night with Alfred Hitchcock

Alfred Hitchcock again, this time directing what many critics consider to be his first indisputable masterpiece. This time, the mythology of the innocence of small-town America is the major theme, with Joseph Cotton perfectly cast against type as the charming Uncle Charlie whose slow reveal as a monster hiding in plain sight builds slowly and unbearably right up until the end.

Enjoy!
