U.S. Customs And Border Protection Agent Arrested In Texas For Possibly Killing FOUR Women
In an absolutely shocking story, a US CBP officer may be a serial killer who killed four women ad abducted a fifth who managed to get away
In a truly shocking story, a woman who had been abducted managed to escape and tell law enforcement that the man who allegedly abducted her is a U.S. Border Patrol agent. He was arrested on Saturday morning for the abduction and on suspicion of killing four other women. If true, a literal "serial killer" has been working for the federal government and probably went through a background check.
The suspect's name is Juan David Ortiz and he was working in Texas as an intel supervisor for the Border Patrol. He ran from law enforcement and was reportedly found "hiding in a truck in a hotel parking lot in Laredo at around 2 a.m. Saturday."
Law enforcement say that they have "very strong evidence" that he is indeed responsible for the murders of four women, all of whom allegedly worked as prostitutes.
The Webb County District Attorney said it bluntly: "We do consider this to be a serial killer...The manner in which they were killed is similar in all the cases from the evidence,"
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General are reportedly fully cooperating with all investigators, of course. How many other women could he have killed in Texas or across the country? How did he pass a background check? These are all unknown at this time.
