Have No Fear! Elections Are Secure! Ron Johnson Is Here!
Ron Johnson creates a portal for reporting any suspected election fraud. No, really.
Even though the 2020 elections were on of the most secure in any in the history of the country, one can never be too careful.
So Senator Ron Johnson (Q-Moscow) has taken it upon himself to set up an election security portal for people to report any voting irregularities they witness, real or imagined:
Ron Johnson’s reelection campaign is taking steps to assure voters that the 2022 elections will be secure and run in accordance with all applicable laws. In partnership with the Republican Party of Wisconsin (RPW) and the Republican National Committee (RNC), conservatives in Wisconsin are investing in election integrity efforts to ensure the 2022 elections are free and fair.
“Everyone in Wisconsin should have the assurance that their vote counts and it will not be canceled by a fraudulent vote,” said U.S. Senator Ron Johnson. “We are doing everything in our power in 2022 to restore confidence in our election by ensuring Wisconsin elections laws are fully complied with. We will continue to coordinate with the committees to make sure this election is free and fair, and that everyone can have full confidence in the final results.”
As part of the campaign’s effort, Wednesday marks the launch of SecureElectionsWI.com, a website on the Senator’s campaign page that allows individuals to report instances that they feel might be inconsistent with state laws. Campaign attorneys will review those submissions to determine the next steps. Those looking to connect to the website can also text “SECURE” to 85541.
Yes, that Ron Johnson. The same guy that spent the last couple of years promoting The Big Lie. The same guy that helped incite and then minimize and downplay the seditious riot of January 6th. The same guy who tried to overturn the election by hand-delivering slates of fake electors to then Vice-President Mike Pence. Yes, that RoJo.
The best part is that you don't have to worry about snooping eyes seeing whether you made a report or what you might have said. You see, it's not an actual government site aimed at protecting the elections. It's just a page of RoJo's campaign website, aimed at getting the contact information of the most gullible of his fellow QAnon acolytes.
Unfortunately, it also means that we will never know how many clever people, doing good trouble, just used it anonymously or under false names to report RoJo himself to his own website - not that we would ever advocate for such behavior. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
