New Jaw-Dropping Video Shows Pelosi Reacting As Rioters Ravaged The Capitol

Lumpy really needs to go to prison.

The Jan. 6 committee members didn't disappoint as they presented new footage of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA.) and then-Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) reacting to the Capitol riot as it was happening. And this blows right-wing lies about Pelosi right out of the water. Whether you like or dislike Pelosi, you must admit that she has brass ovaries. Big brass ovaries.

"We have got to get… finish the proceedings or else they will have a complete victory," Pelosi is heard telling someone on the phone while walking through the Capitol with an alarm blaring in the background.

One person can be heard telling Pelosi that everyone on the House floor is putting on tear gas masks "to prepare for a breach." Pelosi turned to then-House Minority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) and others in the room and asked, "Do you believe this?"

"There has to be some way we can maintain the sense that people have that there is some security or some confidence, that government can function, and that we can elect a President," she said.

The January 6 committee showed video footage taken around the same time of rioters running through the building and a group of people inside screaming, "bring her out here," referring to Pelosi.

Schumer tells Pelosi at around 3:00 p.m., "I'm gonna call up the effing secretary of [defense]."

"We have some senators who are still in their hideaways," Schumer tells acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller on the phone in a clip shown in a separate video, with Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) present. "They need massive personnel now. Can you get the Maryland National Guard to come too?"

"I have something to say, Mr. Secretary," Pelosi said on the phone. "I'm gonna call the mayor of Washington, D.C. right now and see what other outreach she has, other police departments as Steny, Leader Hoyer, has mentioned."

Pelosi reached out for help to then-Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam on the phone.

"Hi, governor, this is Nancy," Pelosi said. "Governor, I don't know if you have been approached about the Virginia National Guard, Mr. Hoyer was speaking to Governor Hogan, but I still think you probably need the okay of the federal government in order to come into another jurisdiction."

Pelosi was watching footage of what was taking place as the Capitol was breached.

"Oh my gosh," she told Northam. "They're just breaking windows; they're doing all, all, kinds of, I mean, it's really, that somebody, they said somebody was shot."

"It's just; it's just horrendous," she added. "And all at the instigation of the president of the United States."

Committee members then showed a video of Pelosi and Schumer speaking with Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen.

"Yeah, why don't you get the President to tell them to leave the Capitol, Mr. Attorney General, in your law enforcement responsibility?" Schumer said. "A public statement, they should all leave."

Oh, the National Guard, you say? I'm sure Trump is throwing food right now on the walls of Mar-a-Lago. The fact that they had to ask Trump to call off his mob of savages just blows my mind. He didn't care that lives were in jeopardy.
