Jesse Watters Asks About The 'Trump War Chest'
Fun Fact: We all know Trump spent it on himself.
It's nice of Jesse Watters to catch up to where I've been since at least February of 2021.
The "Stop the Steal" grift was Donald Trump's best idea ever. He reportedly "raised" a quarter of a BILLION dollars so he could get reinstated by Thanksgiving or something.
Jesse Watters is just "asking the question." Proof positive that, at least for now, the suits upstairs at Fox are abandoning Bloaty McGrifter. Transcript via Mediaite:
JESSE WATTERS: J.D. Vance won in Ohio. Trump endorsed him. I like J.D., but McConnell had to plow about $32 million to help J.D. win in a state that Trump won by eight. That money could have gone to [Blake] Masters in Arizona. Now, Masters, who I also like didn’t raise enough dough – got outspent by about a billion dollars, a gazillion dollars. I can’t keep track.
Nobody can even define what [Mark] Kelly believes in, but it works. All we know is that he’s an astronaut who has great manners or something. McConnell spent close to $400 million on these Senate candidates. I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but that is a lot of money. And we didn’t pick up a single seat? So, either some of these candidates are garbage or the money’s not being well spent.
But Trump’s sitting on a massive war chest in Mar-a-Lago. Where’d that money go? We don’t know.
Oh come on, Jesse, we do know. Of course we know.
It's not an accident that Trump is the first Republican president post Citizens United. That horrible decision brought all the grifters to the yard, because there is unlimited money for them to steal. I said what I said.
