Kari Lake Lies: They Allow Abortions On Your Way To The Hospital To Give Birth

Nothing she said is true. Even worse, she knows it's a lie.

During Donald Trump's third presidential debate, he falsely but dramatically said that you can "rip the baby out of the womb" in the ninth month of pregnancy, "as late as one or two or three or four days prior to birth." Welp, Trump-backed Republican nominee for governor of Arizona, Kari Lake, just said something similar.

On Spicer & Co., the election-denying wackadoodle unleashed a whopper of a lie.

"When you walk into a Planned Parenthood, you're given one choice. You're not told that we can help you," she insisted. "We can get you enough help so you can carry this baby full term. The radicals on this issue are people like Katie Hobbs and the far left. They have absolutely no restrictions on abortion. You could be in labor, ready to go to the hospital and deliver that baby, and if you want to get an abortion, they're okay with it."

That's not a thing, Karen Kari.

Via Our Bodies Ourselves Today:

In order to understand more about what exactly late-term abortions are, it's helpful to know what they aren't. They aren't the majority of abortions in the United States. The vast majority of abortions — 91 percent — are early abortions, those performed in the first trimester (the first 13 weeks) of pregnancy. The rest, except for a tiny fraction, take place in the second trimester, at or before 26 weeks. Late-term abortions, generally defined as those performed at or after 21 weeks of pregnancy, are rare. In fact, only 1.3 percent of abortions in the United States are performed at that stage.

Most women who have late-term abortions have them because the fetus has severe fetal anomalies (birth defects) that are often incompatible with life. Less frequently, a woman has one when her own health is at risk or for "personal reasons," such as being unable to access an abortion earlier. Behind each of these scenarios, however, exist thousands of women with their own deeply personal and nuanced experiences.

So, women get late-term abortions over medical concerns such as fetal anomalies or maternal life endangerment, and pro-life Republicans are against that. Speaking of 'pro-life,' Kari made a joke about 82-year-old Paul Pelosi after he was attacked with a hammer by a QNut, and the audience broke out in laughter. I'm just saying that none of this has to do with protecting life. That's bullshit. And Kari knows that women aren't on their way to the hospital to have a baby, then say, 'No, wait. I think I'll get an abortion!'

That's not real life, sunshine.
