Mike Pence: Jinkies, It Would Be 'Too Decisive' To Indict Trump

He wanted you dead, Mike.

Former vice-President Mike Pence laughably claimed on Fox News that people aren't interested in the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on our Capitol possibly referring Donald Trump for criminal charges today.

The panel will reportedly urge the Justice Department to pursue at least three criminal charges against Pence's former boss, including insurrection. The other two charges that will be pursued are obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Yeah, no biggie, huh?

Pence claimed that indicting Trump would be "too decisive." He went on to claim that people want us "to heal," even though Trump still claims that he won the election that he lost to Joe Biden 776 days ago.

"I would hope that they would not bring charges against the former president," Mike said. "I think the president's actions and words on Jan. 6 were reckless. But I don't know that it is criminal to take bad advice from lawyers and so I hope the Justice Department is careful."

He doesn't sound too law and order-y to me. I think erecting a gallows outside of the Capitol was too decisive, but that's just me. And Trump whipping a massive crowd of his lint-licking, fire-breathing supporters into a frenzy to obstruct a peaceful transition of power was about as divisive as it gets. Also, Mike, they wanted to kill you, dude.
