This isn't the first time Texas Rep. Chip Roy called for defunding a top law enforcement agency. Specifically, he wants to cancel the FBI and Department of Homeland Security. In April, Chip dramatically said, "We should FIRE the IRS agents, we should FIRE the FBI agents who are abusing authority, we should FIRE the DHS goons who are going after Border Patrol."

He's stuck on stupid because today, he pretty much said the same thing on Fox News Sunday, and his rant is littered with lies. Chip said that the FBI labeled parents as domestic terrorists, and that's just not true. And he lashed out about "woke policies," so he was sure to get all the buzzwords in there.

"If we give them more money this week without demanding that they secure the border and do more than giving them money with a blank check," he said.

Chip lashed out at Democrats, accusing them of wanting "to simply throw more money at the border and then process more human beings while they're getting abused."

"We've been running on this being the Biden border crisis," Chip told host Shannon Bream. "This the McConnell-Republican border crisis if we give them more money this week without demanding that they secure the border, and do more bloated spending and giving DHS money with a blank check."

"We know what to do," he said. "We saw it work under the Trump administration, but it's also common sense."

Of course, he brought up the border wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for. The one that Trump claimed is completed at his rallies. And, to prove that Trump didn't give a fuck about the wall, or his supporters, he pardoned the guy that ripped off his supporters in a "build the wall" border scheme.

When the former President first touted his plan to build a “beautiful” wall all along the southern border, he said it would cost $8 billion. That's not what happened, though.
