Lauren Boebert Says Stupid Things, Stephanie Ruhle Rolls Her Eyes
Ruhle did not hold back, and she attacked Boebert's refusal to acknowledge reality.
Stephanie Ruhle argued with Lauren Boebert last night about her quest to block Kevin McCarthy from becoming House Speaker. She basically treated her like the dangerous but annoying pest she is.
The MSNBC host kept pointing out the math, stressing McCarthy's 200 votes over his opposition's 20.
"Yesterday, you backed Jim Jordan. Today, you're backing Byron Donalds as speaker. He's got 20 votes. You think that guy's getting to 218 tomorrow?" Ruhle asked.
"I know that there are many of our colleagues who are cheering us on silently," Boebert said.
"Silently won't help, ma'am," Ruhle retorted.
"We're going to get there as long as it takes. And we're going to make sure that this is right for the American people," Boebert said.
Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Just turn down the sound, and watch Ruhle's expressions as Boebert spouts nonsense.
I guess I'm just a snob. Because Bobo is so painfully dumb, reminiscent of the participants in the Gingrich "revolution" and their offspring, the Tea Baggers. She just keeps repeating extremist talking points because (let's admit it) she's not intelligent enough to carry on a discussion.
It has nothing to do with her having a GED -- I've known lots of very intelligent people who have them. She doesn't read, she's not smart. If she were, she might at least admit how hard it would be for any House majority to do business under a rule that would allow anyone to challenge the speaker's position.
But that's the point. She and her little pals aren't interested in actually governing. They're chaos agents -- they just parrot memes and throw temper tantrums. Don't get me wrong, "Republicans In Disarray" is fun to a point -- but they intend to do dangerous things like hold the debt ceiling hostage or cut off Ukraine aid.
My patience with dangerous children who only know how to break things has long since run thin.
