Santos Off To A Good Start By Lying About Congressional Record

You can't make this stuff up. Well, he can.

Rep. George Santos cannot stop lying. George's first day on the job was yesterday, and things aren't going well for him. When you have a penchant for lying, those lies add up and usually come back to bite you.

So, George lied about where he attended high school and falsely claimed to have "attended Baruch College and NYU, where he got degrees in finance and economics." George falsely claimed that he worked at Citigroup after graduating from college. He lied, saying that he owns 13 rental properties. He said in a campaign video, "I've seen how socialism destroys people's lives because my grandparents survived the Holocaust."

George claimed that he employed four victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre and that he founded a charity.

None of that is true.

He's been on the job for a day, and he is caught in another lie, claiming that he cast a vote against the Omnibus budget on December 23, 2022. However, he was just sworn in.

His campaign finance disclosures look dodgy. He is still wanted by the Brazillian police. He really does belong in the GOP.
