Law Enforcement Preparing For Trump Indictment

Federal, state and city agencies are preparing for a possible Trump indictment in New York City.

While we all eagerly away what is hopefully the first of numerous indictments of Donald Trump, it appears we may be inching even closer to the Manhattan "hush payment" related one than we thought. News broke on Friday that local, state and federal law enforcement agencies were coordinating next steps related to the possible indictment of Donald Trump "as early as next week".

NBC News reports that this coordination was confirmed by five "senior officials familiar with the preparations." Sounds like IT IS REALLY HAPPENING (insert Michael Scott running around gif here).

In addition to the standard high profile security plans related to entry through back doors, whether handcuffs would be used (please, yes), etc, there is the added issue of working with the Secret Service. If Trump is charged, he would most likely have to appear at Manhattan Criminal Court, located at 100 Centre Street in downtown New York City. After all, no one is above the law.

A further mystery is what the actual charges may be. It is expected to relate to the hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels, but there have been a litany of other witnesses that testified, including David Pecker from the National Enquirer, who was known to assist as an intermediary in burying unflattering stories about Donald Trump. Could there be other charges, such as conspiracy or something else? WHO KNOWS!

Twitter was very excited about this latest news:

BRING. IT. ON.
