Politics Girl does an Economics For Dummies type of tutorial to explain the difference between debts and deficits. As an added bonus, the painfully explains not only why the Republicans are responsible but the depth of their malevolence. I would say that it should be mandatory viewing for conservatives but it would only be an exercise in futility.
