To 'Unite The Country,' Tim Scott Endorses Man Facing 91 Felonies
Yeah, sure thing, buddy.
The 'lock her up' crowd sure seems OK with propping up a man who has been charged with 91 felonies while suggesting that he can hold the highest seat in the land from prison. Republicans are publicly slap-fighting each other to serve alongside the most divisive former President ever to occupy the White House. South Carolina Republican Tim Scott managed to insult everyone's intelligence by suggesting that the twice-impeached, multiply charged, four-times indicted, one-term President who was found liable for sexual abuse would "unite" the country.
And by throwing his endorsement behind Trump in New Hampshire just days before the primary, Scott publicly shivved Nikki Haley in the back. Haley first appointed Scott to the U.S. Senate when she was the governor of South Carolina. But Scott's reasons for endorsing Trump are pretty bizarre.
Before Scott's endorsement, Trump lashed out at New Hampshire's Republican governor, Chris Sununu, who endorsed Haley in December.
"I think your governor sucks," Trump said to cheers from the crowd.
Scott says Trump will "unite the country."
"We need Donald Trump," Scott told the crowd. "We need a president who will unite our country."
Scott sure does have selective memory issues.
The law & order President -- who is charged with 91 felonies.
"We need a president who will restore law and order!" Scott insisted. "We need Donald Trump!"
Haley said on Fox News this morning that Tim Scott will “have to live with his” decision to endorse Trump. “South Carolina is a blood sport and I have dealt with the old guard and the fellas for a long time,” she said

Next, Scott will claim that Trump doesn't emit an offensive odor. Sure thing, buddy.
