Give Up the Ghost. It's a somewhat subdued record, but it also shows her real maturation as an artist. There's no knockout track like "The Story," but it really showcases both her amazing voice and her band's superb musicianship and songwriting. "Dying Day" stands out, so I went looking for a video of it, and found this remarkably good live version, taken last month in Salt Lake City, at canihelpyoug's YouTube page. It's unplugged, and Brandi sings her ass off. Enjoy.
