Lewis Black: LSD Didn't Prepare Me For Sarah Palin

Comedian Lewis Black is dumbfounded by Sarah Palin's first ad of the 2012 election season that features a man with an axe and a yawning grizzly bear. "What the hell was that?" MSNBC's Keith Olbermann asked Black after reviewing the ad

the new SarahPac ad, Palin's team strings together footage of various candidates she supported along with stock photos of a man chopping wood and a grizzly bear yawning.

"Across the country, everyday Americans are standing up and they're speaking out," Palin says in the video. "I'm confident and I am hopeful because this is our movement, this is our moment, this is our morning in America."

The video includes shots of senator-elects Rand Paul (R-KY) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) along with future representatives Renee Ellmers (R-NC), Sean Duffy (R-WI), and Susana Martinez (R-NM).

There is no mention in the video of the 17 candidates that Palin endorsed but lost anyway.

"What I do believe is she's actually not real," Black told Olbermann. "That's the only way that my mind can deal with it, that she's a fiction character come to life."

"You know she reminds me of if this was a movie this would be terrific, if it was a film it would be wonderful," Black contined. "The sad fact is that Jimmy Stewart would be a better leader and he's dead."
