On June 26, 2013, CODEPINK and other human rights organizations and activists from all over the U.S. -- including several on open-ended fasts in solidarity with hunger striking Guantanamo prisoners -- were arrested while peacefully protesting in front of the White House, calling on President Obama to immediately close Guantanamo Bay detention center.
