13-year-old Peyton Arens wanted to rock out on stage with his heavy metal idol, legendary Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo.

So Make-A-Wish made it happen: At their national tour kick-off show in Tulsa earlier this week, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals invited Peyton on stage to shred his little heart out to "Walk," off Pantera's 1992 masterpiece Vulgar Display of Power.

According to Anselmo, it was Peyton's request that the band play that song. "He's a really great player and an awesome kid," the singer wrote on Instagram.

Peyton was diagnosed with a rare connective tissue cancer known as rhabdomyosarcoma earlier this year. If you'd like to learn more about the boy, his condition, and how to help, follow this link."

That was just awesome, wasn't it? Here's hoping that Peyton gets well and is around to rock for a long, long time.
