San Francisco Conference and establishment of the first United Nations Charter. Although the war was still going on in the Pacific, the daunting task of putting Europe back together was getting started.

Ten days away from the official close of the Conference, this would be the last broadcast recapping the days activities, which were going on since April.

Lots of cautious optimism and a sense that maybe, just maybe it would be done right this time.
