Glastonbury Festival this past weekend, I'm going to run excerpts all week for those of you who missed it. One of the really great festivals with one of the most eclectic mixes of music and performers currently going on. And of course, it's Festival season right now in Europe with the Sonar Festival earlier this month in Spain and another one gearing up in France shortly, at the same time there is the Paris Jazz Festival and the Stockholm Jazz Festival - it's truly an embarrassment of riches and some amazing music. Luckily, most all of the radio networks in Europe are devoting practically non-stop coverage of the events with BBC6 Music and BBC Radio 2 doing a staggeringly great job . . but there is that time difference thing and just not being on the same page.

Tonight it's Elbow with a track they did during Saturday night's concert on The Pyramid Stage. The Bones Of You. Elbow have been one of my favorite bands since their inception in 1990. Still going strong and huge in Europe, while still kind of a mystery over here.
