Giorgio Moroder before he became anointed The Father Of Disco.

There was that period from 1966-1969 where our Master Of All Things Polyester was scratching out a living in Milan churning out bizarre and gooey 'tween concoctions sung phonetically against a backdrop of catchy hooks.

This was one such confection. Moody Trudy barely registered so much as a stomach ache here in 1969 but it was popular enough in Europe to spur Giorgio on the greater things only a few years later.

But just to let you know that success almost never comes overnight, here is a taste of one of Giorgio's earlier endeavors.

Don't blame me - it fell on to the turntable . . .honest!
