Nights At The Roundtable - The Hollow Men - 1990

Nights at the Roundtable with The Hollow Men and a single from 1990 "Pantera Rosa" from the Cresta album.

The Hollow Men - lots of promise and good press. But . . .

The Hollow Men were a band with a lot of potential. Listed by major Music publication NME as a "band to watch", they came in with a lot of promise and some very good material. From 1985 to their demise in 1991 they had over 4 albums and several singles to their credit and were getting a good word of mouth going.

But that wasn't enough to sustain the group, and they called it quits in 1991, leaving an unfinished album and a lot of outtakes to see the light of day as a U.S. only release called Twisted in 1994.

Tonight it's a track from 1990 and their first major label outing. They had just signed with Arista and this was the first track to come off their major label debut album Cresta. Pantera Rosa fared moderately well and justified NME's assessment of being "a band to watch".

Sadly, you weren't able to watch for long.
