Other Lives have been around only a comparatively short period of time (2004), but they've managed to make big inroads to the Indie/Alternative scene and particularly the College Radio scene. Last year they were one of the most popular requested bands on KCRW here in Los Angeles and their new album, Tamer Animals is eagerly looked forward to when it hits the street in April.

But for now here is a taste - For 12 has been getting some airplay since October of last year, but this version just hit Soundcloud yesterday. So I'm not sure if it's a new mix or a different recording. All I know is that it's pretty astonishing and downright haunting.

Can't ask for better on a Tuesday night . . .right?
