Phil Ochs had a legendary reputation as a champion of causes and an eloquent voice of protest. An outspoken critic of the Vietnam War, of social injustice, of racism, of police states, Ochs was a visible presence at just about every protest rally throughout the 1960's and early 70's.
So tonight I thought I would post a track he recorded live in 1974, Here's To The State Of Richard Nixon.
I think, without too much examination, the song is as relevant today as it was at the time of Watergate.
And I suspect Phil would fit in with the 99% like a glove.
