Ed Schultz Weighs In On Bachmann's Failures As A Legislator

MSNBC's Ed Schultz took Rep. Michele Bachmann to task, now that she's announced she will not be seeking reelection for her seat in the Unites States House of Representatives and the fact that her list of "accomplishments" during her eight years in the House amounts to just about a zero.

Schultz asked his viewers whether they think it's fair for Bachmann to collect a pension for doing nothing but obstructing ever since she's been elected to office while at the same time doing her best to make sure working Americans don't have an ounce of retirement security.

Schultz and his staff did a nice job of putting together a "greatest hits" of some of Bachmann's most insane moments and as he noted, there's sadly more where that came from.

I was glad to see Schultz make the highlight of this segment something we've seen way too often, which is the fact that these flame throwers like Bachmann really do not care about legislating or doing what's right for their constituents, but they've figured out that getting their butts on television to say outrageous things is going to make sure they've got one of those wingnut welfare paychecks coming for years on end.
