Besides attacking the Obama administration for making this a "political decision", hyping the number of jobs it would create and ignoring that this project was also opposed by the Republican governor of Nebraska, Dobbs did his best to downplay the potential damage to the Ogallala Aquifer, claiming that "there is not a single instance of an aquifer being polluted by a pipeline anywhere in North America... period."
