A Different Chavez, You Damned Fools

Led by Michelle Malking, wingnuts worked themselves into a lather yesterday because they don't know how to use Google.

Yesterday, the Googles honored labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez on his birthday.

A pack of damfools, being led off the cliff of dumb by Michelle Malkin, thought it was a picture of Hugo Chavez and were outraged, outraged I tell you, that on the day of the resurrection of our Lord that Google was honoring a commie.

I suppose the real irony is that they were looking at Google when they saw the picture.  They could have looked it up.

I guess a small lesson is in order for Malkin’s minions.

And then there’s this:  On February 11, the Republican launched a Twitter account called GOPespanol, in an attempt to speak to all three GOP Hispanics, and presumably to attract more Hispanics to the GOP.

All that is just dandy, except …

Don’t get ahead of me here.

Republicans in congress are now pushing to make English the official language of the United States again.

Two Republican members of Congress have once again introduced legislation in the House and Senate to make English the official language of the United States.

Congressman Steve King (who is not the same person as Billy Jean King) and Senator  James Inhofe (who is hardly a person at all) have introduced the legislation.

Now, I’m not suggesting that there’s a message here that’s more mixed than a Betty Crocker cake or that GOPespanol is pandering but …. oh hell, that’s exactly what I’m suggesting.
