After a very long hiatus between albums and a string of questionable side projects, the beloved and venerable Rancid are releasing a new album.

Let the Dominoes Fall promises to be an adventurous record, with quite a few politically themed songs ("This Place", "The Bravest Kids", and "New Orleans") and a guest appearance from organ legend Booker T. Jones from Booker T. and the MG's. It is also the first without longtime drummer Brett Reed, who was replaced in 2006 by Branden Steineckert, formerly of The Used. Bad Religion guitarist/Epitaph Records founder/punk magnate Brett Gurewitz mans the controls as per usual.
