60 Minutes' Scott Pelley went to the Burlington Coat Factory location where the Park51 Islamic Center is scheduled to be built to talk to the people behind it and get a little truth and a little less hysterics in this media-manufactured controversy.

I love how Pelley confronts Pamela "Atlas Shrugged" Geller--the instigator of all this bigoted and hateful craziness--and leaves her mouth agape by asking her what responsibility she has to tell the truth and be accurate. Oh snap, Pammy! And spare me your martyr complex of the hero of the truth/devil of the media. You should shut up simply because you wouldn't know the truth if it sat shiva for your integrity in your apartment.

Pelley also makes a poignant point about the Muslim calls to prayer in the Pentagon right where the plane hit the side of the building. This has taken place for the last eight years, and no one has wailed about disrespecting the victims. In fact, as the chaplain points out, that is exactly what America has stood for for the last 235 years.
