C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Daft Punk
If you haven't yet heard Daft Punk's most recent release, "Random Access Memories", it's quite different from anything else they've put out. This album has a much wider variety of influences ranging from jazz to disco, as opposed to their more house-oriented sound of the past.
If you haven't yet heard Daft Punk's most recent release, "Random Access Memories", it's quite different from anything else they've put out. This album has a much wider variety of influences ranging from jazz to disco, as opposed to their more house-oriented sound of the past. This tune came out of a collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Chic guitarist, Nile Rodgers. Throw in some top session musicians and you've got "Lose Yourself to Dance". Even though Daft Punk is a pair of robots, I think that this song pays homage to 70s styles like funk and disco pretty well.
