Geraldo: Is There A 'Lesbian Cabal' At DHS?

Oh dear, oh dear. I guess now that Geraldo has stopped playing around, it's still all he can think about. Lesbian cabal? Ooo la la! Why, he was so excited thinking about it, I'll bet he could hardly wait to get home: The Fox News host -- last

hardly wait to get home:

The Fox News host -- last seen kicking up a huge controversy over hoodies -- was on "Fox & Friends" on Friday, where he decided to weigh in on recent allegations about the Department of Homeland Security. A top female aide to Secretary Janet Napolitano has had to take leave amid charges of sexual harassment and anti-male discrimination.

Rivera went straight to what he felt was the heart of the matter.

"I have a question for you," he said. "Is the subtext of the Department of Homeland Security scandal that there is some kind of lesbian cabal, that it's a same-sex takeover of the big agency?"

As the "Fox & Friends" hosts chuckled slightly nervously, Rivera continued. "It just seems like everyone's talking around it," he said. "Is that really what people are saying? That men are disadvantaged and that women and specifically lesbians, are ruling the roost there?"

"I don't know about that last part," Gretchen Carlson chimed in. Brian Kilmeade valiantly took the baton.

"We don't know for sure, but it's easy to come to that conclusion that there's some different type of glass ceiling separating the Homeland Security Department in this case," he said.

Now, look. The unproven allegations against Suzanne Barr are pretty damned outrageous and if there's an ounce of truth to them, she deserves the boot.

Hayes' lawsuit is filled with "false and unsubstantiated" allegations against Barr and other DHS employees, according to a federal official who defended ICE as an agency of "dedicated law enforcement professionals."

Hayes' allegations "do not align with the fact that Mr. Hayes has routinely held high-ranking assignments, including his current position as head of ICE's second largest field office in New York, the official added.

DHS plans to file a motion to dismiss the lawsuit before the end of next week, the official said.

Barr could not be reached for comment.

But let's say everything this employee says is true. When male bosses are openly hostile and abusive to female employees, how frequently are they part of a "hetereosexual cabal"? Can't a jerk just be a jerk?

You know, like Geraldo?
