You probably know Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys, but, for tonight's Music Club, here's some of his solo material.
J.J. Cale, a quietly influential singer-songwriter who stayed in the background while better-known musicians had hits with his songs, including “After Midnight,” “Cocaine” and “Call Me the Breeze,”passed away July 26th at a hospital in La Jolla, California. He was 74.
Van Morrison will revisit once of his best-loved albums with forthcoming five-disc deluxe edition of his 1969 classic Moondance. The collection will include remastered and expanded versions of the songs, and will also feature 50 unreleased tracks, including studio outtakes of favorites like “Caravan, “Moondance” and “Into The Mystic."
