Gee wiz, I just get back from vacation and have to see these things. RTLM, now that I gave up my seat on the plane, don't you have some place to go so we don't have to read your junk? You must be a young punk with no kids. Look into the future where the people of this country are trying to dig out of the financial hole that Georgie and his republican pals dug for us. High speed internet? Maybe for another few minutes. As in health care we are being left in the dust rapidly. Why? Because the rich republican pricks that own the health care and communication systems are only interested in a profit today. The internet communication systems companies were given huge tax breaks to build infrastructure and just pocketed the money without building the high speed capable lines. Now I have one of those criminals calling every day with a $20 a month charge for this so they can build them. We already paid for them the crooks. AT&T and the other phone and cable companies have a lot of people owning them that need some prison time. Oh by the way, just to finish this in a nice way, if you don't like Bill Maher, eat me.
This was not his best stand-up. I may have even turned if off and decided to finish it later, which I will when I'm in the mood. But I'm always down for some Bill Maher stand-up. Especially since the show is in the off-season.

I'm a Proud Democrat I just don't like Bill Maher I don't think he is genuine. I think it's really sad I can't have a difference of opinion without getting attacked here but I guess thats the kind of environment we live in.
Maybe RTLM (Republican Troll - Loves Money) could tell us who fragged Pat Tillman.
Were the 3 M-16 bullets fired from 10 yards in a 2 inch pattern in Pat's forehead from the same weapon? Were they even tested?
Were the soldier's M-16s tested to see if they fired the fatal shots?
Was Pat's diary burned because there were clues in it about the killer?
Was Pat's uniform burned because the killer's blood was on it?
If it was a murder and the coverup went as high as Rumsfeld, Rove, Cheney, and/or Bush, would they be accessories after the fact for a murder charge?

Lookie here, my peeps!!! We all know anyone who would even hint at "defending" coulter is quite hopeless. For chrissakes, she's been kicked off more reich wing sites, then this ROTFLM(close enough) has. No one out there on the right wants to even admit coulter is their SPOKESPERSON. Personally, there were some spot on lines from Maher, but I expected a lot more umph!! We were slightly disappointed, but still enjoyed.

The hate that liberals possess is the hate required for progressive change. In order to change the status quo of anything, one must first "hate" that thing in some small degree it order to justify changing it. After all, if one loves an object just the way it is, then there's no reason to change it.
The difference being the rationality of the hate involved and the potential for change. Your notion of "god" is not a social default and it doesn't matter how many people before you believed in that fairy tale throughout history, your god still does not exist by any kind of social, political or scientific default.
Why do socially parasitic conservatives hate change? Its simply because they can't compete on a level playing field with other people. They need that unearned, automatic leverage on everyone else to make their insecure little egos feel like they're actually accomplishing anything.
You and your conservative brethren are nothing special, RTLM. You're like a football team that stands in the middle of an empty stadium proclaiming that you're #1, while simultaneously barring any other team from entering the field.
This is also related to why you socially parasitic conservatives like to say that "Liberals hate America". Liberals hate America in the same way good parents hate their children when they misbehave. Parents want to see positive change in the children and so they choose to hate the behavior of the individual child and then implement the force necessary to guide the child towards the path they choose for them. Is it the same loathing, irrational hate that the objective moralists in this country have for minorities and subcultures? Of course not and yet, you conservative parasites keep linking the two in hopes of promoting or maintaining your philosophical bullshit.

I like Bill Maher and I think he speaks the truth, but his stand-up wasn't that funny and was pretty uncomfortable to watch. He seemed too self-conscious. I got the sense that he knew that he wasn't being received that well and/or was underprepared. I felt embarrassed for him. Then again, no one bats 1.000, so he just had an off night, or tour, or whatever.

Right on target! I have traveled to many countries in Western Europe: England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, etc. (you know, all of the countries that Rummy dismissed as "old Europe" a few years back) In general, people there are thinner and a whole lot less obsessed with their own importance. They work reasonable hours, take long vacations and don't shoot as many of their fellow citizens to death as we do. Granted, their countries don't have the same kind of wealth as the U.S. but, fuck it, worshiping the almighty dollar has some big limitations.

I like Bill Maher more than John Stewart. Albeit they may be somewhat dissimilar in their approaches and styles. I've heard audiences and even guests gasp at some of what Maher says in monologues. That makes it all the more funnier.
