In this week's installment of Campaign Asylum, Air America Radio host Rachel Maddow takes a look at the sad, but predictable decision by Newt Gingrich not to run for president. Rachel replays some of Newt's more memorable moments from the last year including his feckless attempt to apologize in Spanish to Latinos after making this racist remark. Ah, but I am still assaulted by the usual suspects about what a genius Newt is every time I go out in Marietta. So I stopped going out in Marietta and instead go across town to Decatur. The shills are apparently paid travel time, and they have begun to appear there as well. Just go away, Newt. Again, you are a slimy, pompous, pseudo-intellectual, media whore with no conscience. Actually, Newt was born into a military family in Harrisburg, PA. His father was 19, his mother 16. He graduated HS in Columbus, GA. At the age of 19 he married his 26 year old HS math teacher who enabled his attendance at Emory University where he found himself surrounded by like (nescient) minds - perfidious lawyers and incompetent doctors...
So technically, he wasn't born and raised here, he just espouses a similar (lack of) values. Just sayin'...
