Poor O'Reilly, he wasn't able to do what his big ego wanted to and he got all upset . Here's some of BillO's meltdown with an Obama staffer in NH. It's probably after most of the ruckus that occurred between the two was over. I don't know who the man in the glasses is, but he obviously didn't like O'Reilly's antics either.

GP, The "Oh my god" from the woman and the reaction of the guy on the left were because BOR shoved the Obama staffer for "getting in his way" and then called him a son of a bitch. The camera was on Obama of course, so only swung over to O'Reilly when people around reacted to what was going on.
And yes Obama acknowledged O'Reilly, but it was very much a "Yes, I acknowledge you are at my party peasant, now if you excuse me, I have a lot of other people I need to greet." He made it quite obvious that he was not interested in talking to OR, which in my opinion is better than if he'd not acknowledged him at all which could have been spun as "staff members wouldn't let Obama know that BOR was there."
Billo is a promotional genius. Billo will market this non event as the controversial video of the decade. This will be the lead segment on his program on Monday and it will quadruple his TV ratings. Every liberal and conservative blog will devote pages to this thing that did not amount to a pinch of shit.

It's obvious that, whereever he was, that it wasn't in a section reserved for press and camera crews. This kerfaffle is much ado about nothing, but it once again shows Billo in his true colours.

Isn't this sort of viscious behaviour the sort of thing he bitches about on his so-called news show all the time? He bitches about people on the Daily Kos and he is going out and engaging in the same bad behaviour that he accuses everyone else of doing.
This will probably only help his ratings.
The good thing though? The era of neoconservativism is coming to a close. O'Reilly is on death's door. He looks like a walking train wreck. He'll drop dead from a heart attack any day now and be totally forgotten very fast. Much like Morton Downey Jr.

As a person who has shaken Obama's hand, and seen many others doing it, I find it interesting that the secret service told Bill not to touch him! Maybe they have Bill's file and it says he is unhinged. Seriously, the secret service only gets nervous about known crazies (or those who look suspicious) obviously they have watched Faux news taken notes and id'd him as a nut and or an enemy combatant. There might even be instructions out there about not letting him in a mile of Obama. Actually, this is probably Bill's free pass, next time... I commend the covert ops and secret service for doing a great job at id'ing a threat to our democracy.
Generally the people who are allowed by security close enough to shake the candidate's hand are not those who as they approach are shouting and shoving others out of their way.
Somehow that gives the protectors a distinctly uneasy feeling.

When Obama briefly spoke with O'Reilly he apparently said something to the effect that he would consider going on The Factor (only) after the primaries. Watch O'Reilly gradually spin that over time into: "Obama has an open invitation to come on The Factor and has so far not responded." With the implication, of course, that Obama fears the fearless one who is looking out for you.
Why didn't the staffer let Bill in anyway. Let him look around and all the while every body ignoring him. What harm could he do..He is going to lie and rant about stuff anyway. Instead of arguing with him they should have pretended he wasn't even there.
He's going to have to get used to staying in the "Free Speech Zone".

Good for O'Reilly. Obama—who, to his great credit, showed real class—shouldn't allow his lackeys to indulge in the the visceral anti-FNC idiocy that so many on the left are afflicted with while on the clock. Press freedom applies to all press organs, even if you don't agree with them.
I've seen/heard this and two other videos of the scene. In none of these do I hear O'Reilly calling Obama's bodyguard an SOB. The bodyguard wasn't stopping O'Reilly from approaching Obama, but standing in front of O'Reilly's cameraman. O'Reilly repeatedly yelled "Don't block the shot!" When the cameraman moved, Obama's bodyguard moved in front of the camera again. Only then did O'Reilly give the bodyguard a gentle push, saying "stay over there". He was just sticking up for his cameraman and the rights of a free press. Certainly, it was "low class" for the bodyguard to block the camera. The secret service moved O'Reilly to one side and the bodyguard away from the camera, and the cameraman was then able to film Obama walking over to speak briefly to O'Reilly.
If I remember correctly Bill beilives that if you get a little excited about a question you want to ask,are close to a U.S. Senator,have a fit,then shove someone, you should be forcibly ejected and tased.
I feel ripped off I did not get to see that happen in this instance.
So I think Bill should tase himself on camera while shouting Bill O'Reilly is a pinhead not a patriot.
