Make it stop. It hurts!

How can an anyone write something so mind numbingly insipid---devoid of facts--about Iran and still be called a pundit? Apparently Kenneth Pollack is one of "those" people.

How can an anyone write something so mind numbingly insipid—devoid of facts–about Iran and still be called anything but a pundit?

What a maroon!

Good point.

Pollack and his bud O'Hanlon have been out-doing each other recently. O'Hanlon's whined that Obama isn't sufficiently reverential to consistently wrong warmongers such as O'Hanlon.

Pollack is the first person in a long time to make me recall that boyhood adage: "when you point a finger, you point THREE at yourself."

O.T. but I think it is very important that we listen to Bev Harris from Black Box Voting.

Yikes!.....that title........maybe shoulda coulda come up with a better one?.... and with regards to Pollack.....who in their right mind would listen to such a tool ?

It is truly bizarre. The feelings of superiority Mr. Pollack must have over Bush and Cheney must bring him a great deal of amusement when one considers the he continues to tell them what they want to hear and they buy it.

Yeah and besides Kenneth Pollack being part of the cakewalk zealots team who lied our nation into a war those same warmongers are pushing to take out Iran

WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 (JTA) — Mideast analyst Kenneth Pollack is one of two U.S. government officials referenced in the indictment against two former staffers of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, JTA has learned.

But Pollack, who was a staffer on President Clinton’s National Security Council,

said he didn’t give the AIPAC staffers any classified information. Pollack also said the information that Steve Rosen, AIPAC’s former director of foreign policy issues, is accused of passing on to a reporter could not have come from him.

“I believe I am USGO-1,” Pollack told JTA on Monday, using a term in the indictment for U.S. Government Official No. 1.

A second source, speaking on condition of anonymity, has verified the information.

Neither Pollack nor the other unnamed government official — identified by sources as David Satterfield, a former deputy assistant secretary of state — has been charged with a crime. That has raised questions about the government’s case against Rosen, former AIPAC Iran analyst Keith Weissman and Larry Franklin, a former Pentagon analyst accused of passing classified information to the AIPAC staffers.

The three men pled not guilty earlier this month, and their trial is set for January.

Pollack is married to Ted Koppel's daughter. Ted put together "Iran the most dangerous nation" for the Discovery channel

american so.called experts don't know what they are talking about?
say it ain't so magdalene say it ain't so

I found this from a poster on that link which I felt was spot on----

"The statement that "the United States is the greatest threat to peace in the world today" is both 1) true and 2) all but incomprehensible to the vast majority of the US population, and to an even higher percentage of US elites. Since "U.S. aggression" is a nonsensical term to these people, the concept of defense against it is even more nonsensical...."

You've nailed the problem right there. People who listen to Pollack, as well as, O'Hanlon, Kristol, the entire Fox roster, etc... are obviously not right in the head - yet are sadly a huge percentage of the population. And even more important, the people who listen to them are apparently the policy-makers, the news editors and producers and the rest of the "deciders" in out country. They promote what are called, "Nobel Lies" - things they most likely don't truly believe but are certain will help them in reaching a justified ends to their deceitful means.

Good question! Let's ask Chris Matthews or William the Bloody Kristol or BillO or...*! Nevermind.

Maybe Pollack disrespects the public because the media is generally afraid to report stories of treason in the highest office in the land and the elected lawmakers protect the criminals from being held accountable against the interests of those that elect them. The biggest story in an eon.

Here is Kenneth Pollack clip still claiming that Iraq could be a success

Another interesting article about Pollack.

"Two of the officials named in the requests - Satterfield and Pollack - are mentioned in the indictment against Rosen and Weissman as government officials who provided information to the two former AIPAC employees."

Military inteligence; the oxy moron is pesonified by Kenneth Pollack.

Well Mr. Amato, if you don't know why, then we have problems. Allow me if you will. Irak is "working". So they say. What they actually mean is that the carnage and the fighting have subsided, more or less. This means less American casualties. Not necessarily less Iraqian casualties. The defense industry investment is coming to a standtill. Bush have 12 months to go. That means that he must quickly provide means of enrichment to his minions before he exits the White House. Iran is the perfect victim. So my advise is: Invest heavily in defense industry conglomerate shares, if they let you, and you'll benefit enormously from this new invasion. Probably another 9 billions dollars will get lost in Iran...but who gives a fuck as long they end up in Republican pockets.

The establishment is all in favor of a new war in the Middle East because it will pump billions of dollars into the "system", "theirs." Or the privileged circle such as the MSM, weapon producers, suppliers, etc, etc. That's why we have all these idiots advocating for second war. After all, their children will never enter active duty, and if they do, they will never see combat action. If they do, they will be the first ones to get field grade promotions in order to get situated for future power position in the American goverment. Too much liberty bring us anarchy, too much conformity bring us failure.

It's up to us to give a new meaning the the future of our nation. We have a ten month window to make the right decision and choose what is right for our beloved and dear American nation. Like he said: "There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America." Let's stop the bickering and let's save the great nation by doing what is right. We don't need to kill more people who have done nothing to us. We'done enough of that!

Iran reminds me of Cuba. The US tried to get rid of it's leader, and when the people revolted, it pissed Uncle Sam off when they thumbed their nose at him. It's really an easy scenario. It matters not if you are a tinpot dictator killer or a democratic nation in the US eyes. As long as you kiss their collective asses and do their bidding. If you question the Washington "geniuses" in any way, or tell them to eat salt, it ticks them off, and they seek revenge. Like I said, look at Cuba. For decades the US did whatever they could to get rid of Castro, cuz, well, he didn't kiss Uncle Sammy's ass and do the US bidding. This forced Castro to reach out to the former USSR for help. The US has basically terrorized that nation for decades, for no reason.

Pollack a bumpkin? Ha! Pollack is a Zionist operative doing whatever his masters in Israel tell him to do via AIPAC. Pollak is a fanatical neocon who pushed the Iraq invasion non-stop. He belongs to that group of pro-Israeli traitors who'd send America's sons and husbands to their deaths without hesitation in a another mid-East confligration

Did I post something politically incorrect? So sorry.

There is a very good awareness in many here in crooks and liars blog.

Thanks I appreciate the opportunity to be able to parctipate.

Bias out in Mainstream Media is in a rage, I could never get a wide spectrum of cultural understanding as I do here or other places on the Internet.

This war in Iraq has shown America how to take a look at it self, and this awareness is very hard to accept for some, especially for those who know they are very wrong. The Neo-Con's are ranting the "Surge" is working but even the basics in good intelligence reveals Baghdad has shifted in population to shite.

So, for all we know it is just a time out, the signals are there, for if the surge was a sucess the political governement would be making those important strides for a national government. Thats not happening. I hope I won't be condemned for suggesting this, but that inevitable chaos, carnage and or civil war that might or could happen if America withdraws is actually a statement of what the Iraqis really want. Iraqis have their own direction they want. I basically cannot concieve that any American politician can come forward to to say to Iraqis this is the way to go. Or, for any Iraqi to follow the American advice.

Let's see. Rumsfeld shakes hands with Saddam, while he's in the Reagan administration. The US helped arm Saddam with some of the same chemical weapons we "knew" he had, to use in the war against Iran. Why wouldn't Iran be leery of the US?
